As part of the beSocratic network, our goal is to develop and distribute open access course content, formative assessments (via beSocratic), and AI-based student and instructor tools (tutors and analysts) to help students master key concepts through socratic interactions and to assess whether students are learning what they need to know to understand biological systems and help teachers focus on what is necessary to understand how biological system work.
We see rational thinking and mechanistic undertandng as the best antidote for, and vaccine against, irrationalism, wishful thinking, unintended consequences, and the inhuman treatment of others. |
