Our goal is to develop and distribute open access course content and tools to assess whether students are learning what teachers think they are teaching and what is necessary to really understand how biological system came to be and work.

"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." - Voltaire Many personal, political, and economic decisions depend upon a reasoned understanding of basic biology, but there is clear evidence that students are not mastering these "biofundamentals". Thinking scientifically benefits both the thinker and the broader society.

We see rational thinking as the best antidote for, and vaccine against, irrationalism, wishful thinking, unintended consequences, and the inhuman treatment of others.

The most formidable weapon, against errors of every kind, is Reason – T. Paine, 1794.  The Age of Reason
